Dear Valued Clients,
Thank you for hosting with WPWebHost.
At WPWebhost, we always strive to provide the best service and latest web hosting technology to our valued clients.
To ensure all our servers’ software are up to date and vulnerability free, we have scheduled an upgrade on all our shared and reseller hosting servers to the newer PHP version and MYSQL 5.6 stable version.
Official PHP development and life span chart may refer to portal below.
As the upgrade is a major version change, we strongly advise all our clients to ensure all custom written applications running on our servers are fully compatible with PHP 5.6 & MYSQL 5.6. Kindly check with your in-house webmaster/outsource webmaster/programmer regarding this matter.
Affected servers
All WPWebHost servers that operating with PHP & MYSQL services
Technical Support and Additional information
For extra precautionary measures, we strongly advise our customers to perform a BACKUP on their critical data.
If you are using a custom php.ini file which PHP modules references are not available with PHP 5.6, your site may not work.
You may remove the custom php.ini file and let it refer to server default php.ini or create a php.ini file that is compatible with PHP 5.6.
What is php.ini?
It is the file for you to declare changes to your PHP settings.
